Are passwords for protected posts cached?

  1. Some of my friends are able to view my protected posts without having to type in the password for it. I'm worried for friends who use shared computers outside and unknowingly makes my private posts available to 'unwanted readers'. Is there anything I can do?

  2. They are stored in a cookie on the computer.

  3. So that means that I there may be the chance of my protected posts made available to whoever uses the shared computer after my friends right?

  4. Yes, you are right. Unless your friends are savvy enough to go to Browsers-> Delete Cookies or setting such as their default you will run the risk of other people reading your posts.

  5. :( That's bad... Hmmm, could I just ask one more question?

Does this means that the only way to prevent this is through deleting the cookies after usage or is this something that we could suggest to support? As you can see, I'm not a tech savvy person too. Lol.

  6. Yes, your friends should delete their cookies after usage. There's really no way Support could maintain this.

  7. Sighh, alright. Thank you all for answering my queries. :)
