Is it possible to post single, password protected, post (not the whole blog)?
If so, how do I do it?

"Private" and "password-protected" are two different things. See here:

Found it.
On the post editor page you will note the "publish" module.
click on "Visibility" and you will see option such as "public" and "Password Protect"
select "Password Protect"
enter the password that will be needed to view the post
click "ok,"
... and "publish" when you are ready to publish.
