Are Twitter followers no longer added in follower count?

    Hello WordPress.

    Our blog's follower count went from 503 down to 474. I wondered what was wrong, until I checked the stats page and saw that our 29 Twitter followers are no longer counted.

    So now it says:

    <b>Followers: 491

    234 WordPress.com blog followers. 17 WordPress.com comment followers.
    240 Facebook followers. </b>

    Is it supposed to be that way? And will Facebook followers not be counted soon?

    So now it says:

    Ah okay, never mind. Someone accidentally turned off Publicize without my knowledge. Sorry!

    Reconnect to twitter and see the followers again. http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#reconnecting-twitter

    No one can turn off twitter except you even if you have multiple contributors. Were you just publicizing how much followers you have?
