ARGH!!! Flickr can suck my apps!

  1. Flickr has censored my photoset from the second day of Occupy Vancouver. Not the first one, just the second. You can't see the images except for one, unless you sign into Flickr/Yahoo. Goddam fucking Yahooligans.

So today I uploaded 103 photos to my post. Alas, so time-consuming to non-batch-edit that the SEO is minimal. I'd love to title each of them, etc, but who has the time?

Grrrrr. Flickr hates us for our freedoms.

The blog I need help with is raincoaster.com.

Did they say way they were doing this?

There must be another service you can use, isn't there?

Err... I meant WHY they were doing this?

  4. What an epic fail they are.

  5. Yeah a huge fail

  6. Actually guess what? It was MY OWN DAMN FAULT.

I was tinkering with the Flickr uploader and set them to Moderate safety. But there wasn't any way on the actual photo page to edit that, and the regular Support didn't find or suggest that: it was a senior person at Flickr who saw me bitching on Twitter who finally tracked down the problem and solution.

  7. Yay for senior persons! Sorry you had to spend all that time uploading all those images.

  8. He actually showed me how to modify the settings all at once. The batch editor is sweet over there.

  9. What an epic fail you are :P

  10. Oh, you get used to it after awhile.

  11. A friend of mine recommended the site 500px, he thinks it's better than flickr.

  12. Why, what does he have to say about it? Flickr is really good for exposure.
