Assistance needed to remove subscriber from my blog

  1. Remove subscriber from my blog

    Good day,

I have recently checked my site stats and noticed that I have a follower who has been pestering me over the internet (Facebook, Twitter) he had also given me his email over Facebook chat and twitter. Thus my awareness of his existence and his email address.

I have lodged a police report over him and would also like to request your help in removing this email from my subscriber list.

    [email redacted]

    Thank you and God bless!!

    Regards,
    Jerome Alexander Chan

The blog I need help with is jeromechan.me.

  2. Once you have addressed and removed the ToS violations on your blog sop it's not suspended what I post below is relevant.

No one you ignore can ever "pester" you. Any since when did submitting unwelcome comments become a criminal offense requiring police action? Read these please:

We cannot block or delete subscribers from public blogs. Everyone on the internet can view and follow any public blog. That is in fact what the public designation means.

You can change your blog visibility to "private" http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/ Please read this about public blogs that become private blogs > Blog Privacy and Subscribers > http://wpcommaven.wordpress.com/2011/09/05/blog-privacy-and-subscribers/

Note that you have complete control over everything that's posted to your blog.
    comment moderation

You don't have to post any comment on your blog. Delete troll posts http://dailypost.wordpress.com/2013/03/27/how-to-starve-a-troll/
and mark only spam as spam. http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2013/01/24/mark-only-spam-as-spam/

  3. @timethief

Firstly thanks for replying. Secondly, I have said nothing about this subscriber commenting on my WordPress blog. If you have read carefully, I have said that he was pestering me over Facebook and twitter. He gave me his email and I happen to have seen it on my WordPress subscribers list.

Yes so I have reported him to the police because of what he has done to me over FB and twitter. So thanks for your help but it was irrelevant.

  4. So why did you ask for help from WP.com when the abuse is taking place over FB and Twitter? By posting in the forum here you only drew attention to your blog, which has now been reported multiple times for Terms of Service violations because of the ads in the sidebar.

  5. I have spammers subscribing to my blogs and I'd rather just remove them from the list for good, because they are not welcome, at all. Please don't tell me to moderate the comment board, it's really the first thing people would do anyway on stalkers and the likes. I'd like only a solution that allows me to eradicate them entirely from my stuff without the need of locking myself on Mount Olympus of moderation and privacy.
