   Hello,

   I am trying to create a blog with multiple authors, and would like to put their names on the list in the right column, and link their names to their bio pages and also to all of the posts they write.
   Do you know if it is possible to do it in worldpress.com and which template I should use?

   Use any widget-enabled theme you like. To do this, you would use a post or a static page for each author. You could then use the Pages widget if you did a Page, or just use a Text Widget (see the FAQ for Text Widgets) if you did them as blog posts.

   But can I then create a custom design for each of the pages of a specific author (and how do I do that), or I have to use the same template (from the blog) for all of the pages?
