auto update page content with live location specific weather data

  1. Hi We have installed a personal weather station and want to be able to feed live data via ftp to our wordpress website - I can't find any information on how to do this - most weather widgets are for pre-existing data in cities - our weather station is in a remote seaside village - hence we want to be able to share the weather information with visitors. I appreciate your advice thanks.

The blog I need help with is sheelaghb.wordpress.com.

  2. We need a link to the site you need help with to give you accurate help - the site linked to your name is one year old and has nothing in it

That said - if the site is really on WordPress.COM - you don't have FTP access to a WordPress.COM blog - but there might be workarounds

  3. Hi thanks for responding the website is self-hosted on http://www.baltimorelifeboat.ie

  4. I have some good news & bad news - since you are not hosted here at WordPress.COM we can't help you with your site (see below for links to get help) - the good news is with your WordPress.ORG install you have a bunch of options open

Never tried weather stations but they should have some help or programs to help display the weather data - I would also look over at the home of the manufacture of your weather station

The site you are asking about does not seem to be hosted on WordPress.COM so you need to make friends over at WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using.
