automatic language translation for everyday wordpress users?

    Hey wonderful wordpress folks,

I just spent a few hours trying to get the following plugin up on my wordpress site (freeuniversEity.wordpress.com): http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/transposh-translation-filter-for-wordpress/installation/

Then I found out I can't use plugins because I am not an independent user. I am curious if there is any sort of automatic language tranlation widgets available to everyday wordpress users. I hella appreciate that I have been able to use wordpress for free, y'all are hella accessible and doing great work. Right now I am struggling to make the website more accessible though, it kinda sucks that it is only available in english and that there is free software that can translate it but that I cannot use, super frustrating especially since I am trying to build with folks across these barriers.

Is there anything already available to free wordpress users for automatic language translation? If not, is there anything in the works that I will be able to expect in the future? I don't know much of anything as far as all of the intensive background work y'all do, but if it is at all possible to make language translation stuff more accessible to everyday users, that would go a really long way in allowing for cross cultural dialogues and community building etc.

    Peace

We can't use JavaScript and we can't use the Google translation widget. However, there are two workarounds. See here > http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2011/02/14/translation-widget-for-wordpress-com-blogs/
