Glad you got it working. I think the reason WP.com allows you to put whatever you want in the "website" space is because so many people have more than one blog and might want to hide some, but who knows? They should call it "blog" and not "website".

I do believe that the web address being different from my blog addy is what caused the problem...could be a problem for a lot of others too...
