   As I drive along the roads of our lives , many things can irritate me and one that I keep noticing is those little signs (Usually triangular..with black print on a yellow background ,made to look like a traffic warning sign.) that are stuck to the rear windscreen of various vehicles ...proclaiming "baby on board" , so as all of us who happen to find themselves stuck behind said vehicle can take note.

   Those little signs bug me because I DON'T CARE IF THERE'S A BABY ON BOARD..., no ,not at all.If the little sign said "BABY DRIVING THIS VEHICLE" ...THEN , and only then, would I care, in fact.. I'd be very concerned !

   Are these people trying to tell me that even though I had nothing at all to do with the conception of their child,I have to be extra cautious and even forgiving towards them when I'm driving in their vicinity because they have ankle-biters in their vehicle ????

   I would like to reply to those folk who display those little signs..... IF PARENTHOOD IMPAIRS YOUR DRIVING SKILLS - PLEASE USE PUBLIC TRANSPORT !!

   I'm with you. A human life is a human life is a human life regardless of the chronological age. Obviously, cars cannot drive themselves so there's a human being at the wheel. I consider the implied command that I should be more cautious because there is another younger human being in the vehicle as well to be an insult to my intelligence, and driving skills. I always drive safely, unlike some of the moms I see dropping off their kids at schools and picking them up again.

   Hello timetheif, thanks for taking the time to read and comment ! That little "BABY" up there is my 1st crack at this bloggy thingy ... o.k. I've posted a few poems on the myspace blog...but nothing like this before . That being the case , it's great to receive any comment , and the fact that your comment picked up the thread so well is an absolute bonus ! Thankyou again timetheif ..any if anyone out there is reading this please take time to check out this timetheif and the wonderful work she does around here.. especially if like me ,you're new to this caper !

   You know in the case of this, I'd have to agree with your irritation, that half of the time what people post on their car, doesn't make any god known sense, that in an actual sense, the only people that do care about this child on board is in fact, the parent.
   The sad truth is, people are so self centered that they won't stop once to think about this sticker that only matters to them.

   Hello skao, thanks for reading and commenting. It's true that the sticker only matters to them, maybe if they read this post they'd realize that !
