Badges

    One of my posts was featured on Blogher's website and they sent me a badge to put on the side of my blog. I tried to copying and pasting the code into a text widget, but it's not showing up. What am I doing wrong? Here's the code they sent me:

    The blog I need help with is devincenzos.wordpress.com.

    The code works for me, but what could mess things up is the div tags, classes and IDs in the div. Give one of the following a try. The first will display just the badge. The second is the badge linked to blogher.com.

    <img title="Featured on BlogHer.com" src="http://www.blogher.com/files/edbadge_Featured.jpg" alt="Featured on BlogHer.com" width="120" height="100" border="0" />

    <a href="http://blogher.com"><img title="Featured on BlogHer.com" src="http://www.blogher.com/files/edbadge_Featured.jpg" alt="Featured on BlogHer.com" width="120" height="100" border="0" /></a>

    Hi. I'm new-- very new to wordpress-- and not so Tech savy.

    I hope you can help with what is probably a simple questions. Where do I paste codes for badges- i.e. visitors Flag counter? I tried quick post and it comes up as a post. Don't want that. I want it to the side and I want it to stay out of the way of my post.

    If you can help me I'll be embarrassed and grateful! I just can't find an answer to this problem.

    Insert the code into a text widget:
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/text-widget/

    But beware: some code is not allowed here on WordPress.com:
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/

    I'm trying to add a badge to my sidebar. I tried to put it in a text widget but it didn't work. Can anyne help?

    @mlvanhuss: That's JavaScript and it does not work here, sorry. See my previous response please (where I say "some code is not allowed"...)
