Batchgeo maps embed code on wordpress.com

    Hi - I would like to embed a map from geomaps (showing the loaction of our atrists's concerts and I have the code etc) in the same way as you can embed a google map. I thought this would be possible as it is essentially a google map - am I missing something? How is it done? Can anyone help? Many thanks!

    The blog I need help with is tashminaconcerts.org.

    What is the code you are trying to paste?
    copy it here between backticks
    like this: `
    (it's on the same key as the tilde ~ next to the 1 key)

    Forbidden code will be stripped out. Google maps work here because there is a shortcode from wp.com which allows them.

    iframes are not allowed on wp.com and I don't think there is a work-around for your map. You could suggest to staff that a shortcode for geomaps would be a good idea.

    You are welcome.

    The only thing I can think of might be to take a screen shot of the map and use that to link to it.

    PS Although it is not as good of course!
    Meanwhile I have had confrirmation from support that they have noted the request for a shortcode for geomaps

    I sent a comment in support of this request, too. I'd love to be able to post from geomaps.
