Be Unsearchable in the "Find Friends" feature

  1. I couldn't find the security feature to allow my account be unsearchable in the "Find Friends" feature at http://wordpress.com/#!/read/find-friends/ that allows users to find other users via their email, Twitter, and Facebook accounts. I tried searching "unsearchable" and "find friends" on Google and these support forums and found nothing. Other than that, I wasn't really sure what else to search.

    How can this be done?

If it's not an option, it really should be!

The blog I need help with is abrightshinymorning.wordpress.com.

  2. I don't know if there is anyway to opt out of this on your end. I'll tag this for staff attention and hopefully they will respond soon with more information.

  3. There isn't any opt out mentioned in the official announcement post here either > http://en.blog.wordpress.com/2012/05/01/find-friends/

  4. I would expect that you would have to be using an email for that account which had never emailed your friends, and which had never received email from them. If you are concerned about this, change your email NOW.
