Best posting times & re-blogging thyself!

    Hey guys!
    I have a bilingual blog (I write in English & in Greek) and I have readers from the US, Australia, Europe & Greece. I try to post between 9:30-11:00 EST (which is supposed to be the best time to catch readers in the US) but that means I post between 15:00-17:00 CET so I am losing my Greek morning-readers and my Australian friends read me the following day! I've played a bit with posting times to see what might be working best but I have yet to figure that out...
    Then I thought of this wacko excuse of a solution: what if I post in the mornings for my European/Greek & Australian readers and then reblog my own post (weird, I know!) in the afternoons to catch my US readers? Would that seem all cocky or confusing since the same post will be appearing twice in a row on my homepage? I mean I know it probably would but does any one think I should give it a try? Anyone having similar issues? Any tricks or tips?

    Have you thought about doing the same post twice, once in English and posted at the best time for those readers and once in Greek published at the appropriate time for them?

    I'm not certain, but I think if you continually have two posts the same on your blog then search engines will see you as a spammer and drop you. Every single person who blogs has the same problem with when best to post, no matter where they are located. I post (different posts) more than once a day, morning and late evening, and get the best of both worlds!

    @furzeinahaze Yeah, you're right, the more I think about it the less like a good idea it seems... even though if I "break it up" like metan1 suggests it might work... thanks!

    What about alternating days? One day post at a good time for the Greek readers and the next day post for the Australian readers.

    If you are talking about folks who follow your blog, then it doesn't matter when you post.
    And if you write good original material, then it does not matter what hour you post. People will find your posts, old and new when they want them.
