    New site for learning WordPress.com http://learn.wordpress.com/ takes you through the process step-by-step.

    There is also the WordPress.com Support site http://en.support.wordpress.com/ , which is chock full of good information for WordPress.com users.

    And while there are only three chapters dedicated to WordPress.com, I heartily recommend Lisa Sabin-Wilson's "WordPress for Dummies". Check it out from the library and give it a whirl.

    And it must be said (for I am very self-promotional) that I offer online workshops and consulting on WordPress.com and social media via http://raincoastermedia.com so if none of those work for you, think about taking a course. I've got over 600 pages of questions answered in the forum here, and I've been doing social media training for five years now.
