One's blog is linked in someone else's blogroll in a widget listing their favourite blogs. I never ask for it but it is great to experience this surprise each time.
I believe one of my blogs is directly linked indefinitely in 5 other different blogs in their respective blogroll widget.
I know, because I visit their blog occasionally and have occasionally commented. Then one day...there's my blog's name.
Another 2nd different blog is listed also in about 4 other totally different blogs too. Not alot. But just nice to know.
It's a great motivator to keep writing and composing interesting blog posts!
