I'm experiencing a major slowdown during post editing on my two WP.com blogs: bonkowski.wordpress.com and blog.polishwineguide.com.
Using a Windows XP netbook and Firefox 3.6, a few weeks ago I noticed a considerable slowdown when editing post in browser window. There appears to be background activity all the time, making the interface react painfully slow. Formatting text, adding images, update drafts is really almost unbearable. A 500-word post can take over an hour to process properly because how slow it all is happening.
On the bottom left corner of the FF window there are a few processes showing up, including a mysterious log.olark.com which appears to be the main culprit. From what I gathered Olark is a plugin for live chatting with readers. But I don't have (nor intend to) have any live chat or help for readers. How to switch that thing off? I don't need that plugin at all.
Any help is appreciated.
The blog I need help with is bonkowski.wordpress.com.
