Hi. I'm new to this and I wanted to get started right away but I can't do anything since there is a grey box cutting off half of my screen so I can't see the top half of my profile. I really don't understand it and I don't know how to take it off. Please help me.

I tried logging in as you, but I don't see the same stupid box. I don't see any boxes! Could you do as Timethief suggests and take a screenshot so I can better see the problem? It will help me to troubleshoot.
