   Hi,

   Bing Webmaster SEO reports " The description is too long or too short " for 11 Urls in my WP hosted blog, indicating " Severity - High ".

   Bing's recommended action is " Change the description in the <meta description> tag in the page source to be between 25 and 160 characters in length".

   I did see the <meta description> tag in the page source, how do i change the <meta description> tag in the page source to be between 25 and 160 characters in length, for the 11 urls?

   i quite didnt understand this reply.

   How is it going to help the meta description tag if we are to shorten the titles ?

   What titles?

   Page title ?

   or this below

   How do i change the meta description in the page source of a blog's page hosted in WordPress.com blog ?

   Can u please point the directions/steps to edit the meta description tag in the page source.

   Im not good in html/css, please help,

   It is not Spam.

   These multiple posts in multiple threads are very much required, because these are multiple issues, which will certainly be of reference for troubleshooting different scenarios which WP users might experience in future.

   If WordPress Founder Matt Mullenweg has any issues related to my posts queries let him say so and not you. You are a member like me in this forum, so either be a good sport to exchange discussions to resolve issues and not to post to anything unwanted to the issues' queries which I've raised.
