Hello, I was wondering if someone might be able to tell me what I am doing wrong. I have tried to activate the Facebook widget and all I get is a big white box on my side bar. Does anyone know why? Thank you.

Did you enter the URL for a page (not a profile)? It will not display until you do.
I think I don't understand the terminology. The first URL I entered was my homepage, is that considered a profile? The second URL I entered was my newsfeed.
You can add a Facebook like button to your blog ONLY if you have a Facebook fan page (not profile).

Your home and news feed URL corresponds to the same home page not fan page.
Oh ok, now I feel kinda stupid, but thanks, that makes sense now.
Nevertheless you can add a profile widget of your facebook profile (not page) to your blog. If you don't have/want to add the page widget.

Thank you. I have noticed that none of the widgets I have tried to get to work, do. Are widgets a service you have to pay for or am I that ignorant?
I am using the 20/11 theme. Does theme have anything to do with how widgets work?
