   I have a slow connection and the infinite scroll is already kind of a pain. A couple of the WordPress blogs I follow are now using slide shows and they start automatically when I visit, thus slowing things down even further. I know I can click the pause button, but if there are several of these on their home page...

   Is there any way to disable these, either as a WordPress option or does anyone know what script or item I can block without disabling all of WordPress? I use both NoScript and AdBlocker on Firefox.

   There are some flash and script blocking add-ons/plugins for some browsers where you can right-click and choose to block the scripts. I've got a flash blocker add-on installed in Safari but have never used it.
