Blocking Spam Without Using Akismet

    Here at wordpress.com Akismet is installed on our wpMU (wordpress multiuser) blogging platform. That means all of our free hosted blogs are equipped with Akismet and it cannot be removed by us wordpress.com bloggers. Consequently, your post will not be of any value to bloggers who are blogging on the wordpress.com multuser blogging platform, and may even mislead new bloggers here into thinking that they have the option of blocking spam without using Akismet when in fact, they cannot.
