I just got the new that I am nominated for a blog award. Hm....
As I understand it I have to nominate several other people and put in some link in a post.
My questions;
Is blog awarding a good or bad thing? Is it just a way of mass posting?
How serious is it, when I get an award just because someone else has to award several people to get his/her own award?

It's somewhere between a chain letter and a real award. Participate if you want, but generally it's just a way for bloggers to get links in.
It is NOT serious. The serious awards are the Webbys.
