I'm getting 404 Error when I try to go to EffectiveLeadership.com and when I try to log into it as an administrator I get http://effectiveleadership.com/wp-admin/ I get "
"Forbidden You don't have permission to access /wp-admin/ on this server. Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."
I suspect this all happened when I updated my WordPress software and apps yesterday. Please urgently advise.
I contacted GoDaddy, as they keep the registration of my domain, and they responded:
"Thank you for contacting Online Support. I understand you are concerned about the site not resolving. Testing the account we found the .htaccess file is the cause of the issue. The file is scripted to block all access to the site content. When disabling this file by renaming it a new .htaccess file was automatically added with the same script. We then disabled the script by adding a # to the line to omit it. You will need to review your site script and configuration to determine why this is being done automatically and resolve the issue."
Please help.
The blog I need help with is effectiveleadership.com.
