We have a Google Apps domain (e.g. mydomain.com) and a second domain that is aliased to this one (e.g. myalias.com). This means user accounts and email at myalias.com are really handled by the user accounts and email at mydomain.com.
We would like to sign up for the WordPress.com premium domain mapping feature so that myalias.com takes users to myblog.wordpress.com. Can someone clarify for me whether the Google Apps domain mapping email instructions apply to Google Apps aliased domains as well as primary ones? That is, if I instruct our registrar to update the DNS records to NS1.WORDPRESS.COM etc, will I think be able to add email for this aliased domain
I'm asking because it looks like the fallback method (DNS record editing) requires me to have access to domain verification code from Google Apps. We already created and used this code when we first set up the domain alias in Google Apps, and there doesn't seem to be a way to regenerate one. So I'd like to make sure the simplified auto-configure method will handle a domain alias on Google Apps correctly.
Thanks in advance for your time.
The blog I need help with is emmacarlson.wordpress.com.
