   The blog I need help with is darrellzblog.wordpress.com.

   You can change
   

   darrellzblog

   To most anything you want

   Dashboard >> Settings > General >> Change Title & Tag Line

   Ok, thanks so when I set up a domain here on WordPress I am not confined to the same name I gave my blog, correct?

   You can change the title and tagline to most anything you want - they don't need to match the blog URL or the account name.

   Click on my name for what I changed

   Yes. You can choose any available domain name. Do a whois search on domain names you like to see if they are available.
