dystoniamuseMy blog Chronicles of A Dystonia Muse is not showing up in Google searches and my privacy settings are now set to "Allow search engines to index this site" though that was not my initial setting. After switching from "I would like my site to be private," I re-published my only post so that it would be indexed. What is going on? I want to promote my site but not until it's searchable. Also, my posts are not displaying the date posted and I don't see any such option in screen options. How do I get the date of posting to show? My theme is Coraline.

WordPress.com automatically sends notifications to Google with every post and page update. The search engines can take 4-6 weeks or more to add any new sites. For more information about WordPress.com and Search Engines, please see http://support.wordpress.com/search-engines/
The post "You Have Dystonia?" is a sticky post, so it won't display the date. Just unstick it, and the date will appear.
