Blog page says "nothing found" instead of displaying the name, "Blog."

  1. Hello,

I created a static home page and a blog page. The static home page displays fine, but there is a window that allows viewers to type comments, etc. I thought that was only supposed to be on the blog page. Also, when I click on the blog page, it says "nothing found." Again, there's an input window, but nothing displays on the blog page itself. Why can't my blog page be found, and why doesn't it work the way it's supposed to? Please help.

The name of the blog is: ruminationsofarestlessmind.wordpress.com

    My theme is: Twenty Twelve

The blog I need help with is ruminationsofarestlessmind.wordpress.com.

  2. All is well. By default your blogs page displays all your posts and you have not published any posts. The 404 (page not found) error message on that page of your blog appeared because you deleted the placeholder Hello World post. http://en.support.wordpress.com/not-found/ As soon as you publish a post, not a page it will disappear. http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/

  3. Oh. I wasn’t sure how it was supposed to work. I published a post, and I guess it’s working fine now. Thank you.

  4. Hi again,
Asides don't have post titles and can't have categories assigned to them. Please see here so you understand what post formats are and how to use them effectively. http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-formats/

  5. Thanks for the link. I'm just starting out and somewhat floundering. I appreciate the help.
