    Hi

    Whenever I write a blog post I tick the side buttons so that it would share to my other social media sites, however when I check them, nothing gets shared despite ticking the boxes.

    What's happening? Can anyone help me?

    The blog I need help with is jessicamcleodyu.com.

    Hi Jessica! I'm afraid nothing yet. Can you try creating and publishing your post straight from the classic editor here?

    http://jessicamcleodyu.wordpress.com/wp-admin

    I've experienced success with following the entire publishing flow from the classic editor.

    that link is for the dashboard, (which has a lot of links), where's the classic editor button?

  15. Dashboard->Posts->Add New.

    Alternately, you can click the new editor and when it comes up, switch to Classic Mode. I believe that's at the top of the page.

    Also, you can go to the drop-down menu on the grey Admin bar and where it says NEW just click the New link, don't click Post or Page or Media or whatever. It takes you straight to the classic editor.

    Hey Jessica,

    Sorry for not clarifying. The classic editor lives in the Dashboard under the flow that Raincoaster mentioned. Can you let me know if Publicize works from there?

    Ok, I see the difference now. Yes, it worked. Thank you

    Hey Jessica!

    I just wanted to let you know that we recently made some improvements to the new editor and how it handles Publicized posts. Could you please let me know if a post you publish from the new editor fails to Publicize correctly?

    Hi Jeremey,

    Do I do everything the same way I did before?

    (Dashboard->Posts->Add New)

    Hey Jessica!

    Yep! You can continue doing it that way. If you also want to try out the new editor here:

    https://wordpress.com/post

    You can give that a go as well. I just wanted to let you know that the new editor and Publicize should be playing nicely together now!
