blog recover

    Hello,
I have created a blog address some time ago (liviuberbecanu.wordpress.com). I deleted it. Now I want it back. unfortunately can not. I say that already exists. What can be done to return to my old address (liviuberbecanu.wordpress.com)

  2. Nothing can be done. As the warnings when you deleted it said, deletions are permanent. You can register a variant, like liviuberbecanublog.wordpress.com or you can buy the Custom domain and Mapping upgrades and get liviuberbecanu.com

  3. raincoaster is totally right, deletions are permanent.

I find it strange you can not recover even if the blog was deleted. In blogspot possible. For 6 months the blog name is reserved for the account from which it was created. If wp just can not ever recover blog, then wp is a big problem

  6. Not really: they said deletion is permanent, and it is. If you expect WordPress to work like Blogspot, you need to change your expectations; it does not.

  7. And it's not a technical shortcoming, it's a matter of policy.

When you are about to delete a blog in Tools > Delete Site, the screen says:

Please review the options below and make sure you've selected the one that best fits your need.
    [six options here]
Permanently delete the site and all content
Please read carefully. You are trying to permanently delete ~~.wordpress.com.
If you do not want ~~.wordpress.com to exist any more, you can delete it. This CAN NOT be undone. It is permanent.
All of your posts and data, and this site's address (~~.wordpress.com) will be gone forever.
If you are sure... [then check the option:] I want to permanently remove ~~.wordpress.com and I am aware I can never get its content or its address back.

If you managed to miss all that, then I don't see why you are complaining.
