blog subscription widget

  1. How do I add the blog subscription widget?? I can't seem to do it? Help please.

The blog I need help with is bkhe.wordpress.com.

  2. You can add widgets to your blog by going to your blog's Dashboard and then visiting Appearance > Widgets.

You will see the Blog Subscription Widget in the big list of widgets on that panel; just drag and drop it into one of the sidebars provided for your theme (you'll see the sidebars on the left).

There's a video on how to manage widgets available here: http://wordpress.tv/2009/07/24/wpcom-widgets/

  3. What if it is not one of the choices in the widgets panel? Where to you then get it?

  4. This widget is a feature of WordPress.com blogs—your blog is a self-hosted one and so you won't see the option.

  5. Just out of interest. Is there any way to make that widget a link instead? The actual widget is a little bit bulky so I'm using feedburner at the moment but I would like to use the wordpress version for the stats if it is possible to.
