Blog title has changed colour!!!

And whatever I do, I can't get it back to the previous/chosen colour. In fact, when I go to the header customisation page, it's showing the correct colour (#bfc3cf - I've even saved it again multiple times) but on the live page it changes to a kind of gold.

Is there some kind of glitch at the moment?

The blog I need help with is halfpastthehour.wordpress.com.

  2. It appears that your Header text has been set in the Customizer to the peach color currently being displayed:

You can modify that by going to Appearance > Customize and then choose Colors in the right hand menu.

    Thank you - it worked!!!

Does that somehow overide the colour that's set in the header page of the dashboard, then?

  4. The colors area of the Customizer does override custom CSS.

You can trick the Customizer by adding !important to the header color selector in your custom CSS.

    Noted, and thanks again :)

  6. Hi again,

It looks like a number of people were confused by a recent change to prioritize the Customizer over custom CSS, so that change has been reverted (see http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/css-has-stopped-working?replies=13 ).

The point being, if you haven't made changes to your CSS yet, it looks like you won't need to do so after all. :)
