Blog title with embedded apostrophe breaks HTML validation

    A week or so ago, my blog http://jrvarma.wordpress.com/ stopped validating as HTML.

    This is because my blog title contains a single quote (apostrophe) "Varma's blog on ....".

    The offending line in the WordPress HTML source is
    <link rel='index' title='Prof. Jayanth R. Varma's Financial Markets Blog' href='http://jrvarma.wordpress.com' />

    In the past, I presume, WordPress was using double quotes for the blog title instead of single quotes
    because in the past my blog did validate as HTML.

    Is there a simple solution other than changing my blog title?

    The blog I need help with is jrvarma.wordpress.com.
