Blog was deleted and I need the old domain of it (non-premium). Please help.

  1. I'm an indie game developer, and have 2 wordpress e-mails registered ([email redacted] and [email redacted], still own both of them) and in order to transfer my old site (counciloftorment.wordpress.com) to the other one I just deleted it and wanted to start from scratch, unaware that once deleted, the domain will become unavailable.

If possible, I would like to get my old domain "counciloftorment.wordpress.com" back. I own both accounts and I made that domain so there can be no issue.

The blog I need help with is thecounciloftorment.wordpress.com.

  2. counciloftorment.wordpress.com is no longer available.
The authors have deleted this site.

To prevent accidental or inadvertent deletion of blogs, there are multiple warnings given that blog deletion is permanent and irreversible. Lastly, a verification link is sent in an email and must be clicked to delete a blog. If clicking that link does not work then copy and paste it into your upper browser window and click. Once clicked the blog URL is forever gone, gone, gone.

You cannot recover or register any deleted blog URL. Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.

You can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.

  3. I think this is silly, having to pay just because I deleted my old blog, unaware that the link will be kept.

  4. I'm sorry you failed to read the warnings and take heed of them. You have two options which I already posted above.
