blog/dashboard will not load

    I seem to have great difficulty loading any wordpress.com page including my blog, dashboard and even this page that i am typing on now. When the pages do load the themes are all gone. I take ages to load, it is hit and miss getting the pages to load, sometimes the pages go blank and i get the "page cannot be loaded" error. I have tried using Internet explorer, chrome and firefox and none seem to work. On my work computer the pages load fine, i have cleared cache and cookies to no avail. I wish i could add pics here so you could see what i am seeing.

    The odd thing is i can load my friends blogs with no problems just my own and this support area also. For now i have managed to load the dashboard but i know next time i go to enter it i will have problems.

    Some days i cannot even log in before the page times out

    Log out of wordpress, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser and try again.

    If that does not work, try a different browser to see if it is browser related.

    Also, what browser and browser version are you having problems with?

    As i mentioned i did the cache and cookies
    I am using firefox 6.0.2
    IE 8

    I managed to get into my blog tonight but i am trying to add a new post now and it will not load again. The page sits loading for about 5mins on a blank page then when it does load the page is all scattered no themes just text

    Sorry, too much multi-tasking going on tonight. Take a look at the following three links and what you should see is a bunch of text on each one (CSS actually). Let us know if any of them return errors for you or you do not see the text.

    Tis ok thanks for responding so quickly :)
    No errors on any of those and i see text all along the top of the page nothing else

    The odd thing is this forum area is loading fine for me just not my blog/dashboard tis very weird

    Have you tried rebooting your internet modem? Past that I would also suggest a complete reboot of your computer and if those don't do it, then I'm not sure what to suggest. If you can view it from work then it has to be something with your home system, or perhaps your ISP.

    Also, make sure that in your browser preferences javascript is enabled.

    Have you by chance updated or installed any security firewall software or anything like that?

    I've had this problem for a couple of months now, i gave up on blogging but wanted to get back into it.

    No security updates same as i have used for years now. Would the theme i use have anything to do with it? just a stab in the dark but thank you for your assistance i will keep plugging away but i notice that i am not the only one having such problems.

    Contact staff and have them take a look at things. It could be something in the backend here, but then again, if that were the case, it should affect you at work as well. They may have some ideas though. Go to http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ and search for anything, scroll down and click "no" and then the contact form will appear.
