   We're about to going travelling in China and in an attempt to circumvent The Great Firewall we are going to move our blog from WordPress.com to another host.
   Does anyone know if we also need to change the registration of our domain name or can we leave it with WordPress and just amend the name servers to point to the new host? I'm new to this and don't really understand how the firewall works...i.e. if we keep our domain registered with WordPress and just change where it points will that still fall foul of the firewall despite our site being on a non-wordpress server?

   I'm sorry but China blocks WordPress.com and there's nothing we can do about that. I don't know if WordPress.org blogs which are hosted by many different hosts are blocked or not.
