   I am clearly new to blogging and am so confused it's not even funny. I have tried to follow numerous blogs in relation to what I aim to blog about, yet these blogs only show up under the "Blogs I Follow" tab when I subscribe to getting e-mail notifications. Do you need to subscribe to the e-mail notification list to be considered a "follower"? Alsoooooo....are there any sure-fire ways of getting myself some followers considering I have ZERO right now? I tagged my first post so I know that'll help...but does this all come with time and experience? Help me pleaseee :)

   The blog I need help with is rantingravingserving.wordpress.com.

   If you follow a blog (by clicking the button in the top bar) they should show up in the "Blogs I Follow" - no need for the email notifications

   As for followers:
   In my experience it takes time and dedication as well as quality content - I think you already did a right step by following and interacting with the community and fellow bloggers ...

   You can't expect too much from your first post ;) - but I am confident, that you can do it!

   btw. I checked out your blog - looks fine :) - since you wrote that you tried to follow blogs who do the same as what you try to achieve - I am not sure if fellow ranters are your main audience ;)

   Okay I'll try again and see if that works...just wanted to make sure I wasn't going crazy and imagining it!

   My first full day of being up, I had 24 views which really doesn't sound like a lot but from what I've read, I'm pretty lucky to have that so I'm grateful haha.

   Thank you for your help...I really do appreciate it!
