blogum theme: delete built-in categories and meta sidebar widgets

    hello,

    I tried searching to find a way to remove the built-in categories and meta sidebar widgets, while keeping the archives widget.

    I would appreciate any help.

    You can delete and create new categories on Posts → Categories. Widgets can be added or removed under the Appearance → Widgets menu.

    Thank you, mariano.

    But, there are currently no widgets selected to be active under the widgets menu. I think that the sidebar is preprogrammed as part of the blogum theme. I am just looking to remove a portion of it.

    Just drag the "Archives" widget from the Available Widgets area on the left into the Sidebar area on the right :)
