blog/website files

  1. The first time I stumbled across wordpress, it involved downloading a folder of website files that could then be edited, hosted and set up as a website.
Because I needed a site up quickly though, I bought a domain through wordpress and have created a blog through it, working on my bought domain. No download was needed and no tweaking with any code.

Now I want to know if there is anyway to access the files relating to my site,
or whether my blog files were downloaded without me knowing,
or I have dug a hole where I cannot edit anything specifically short of a css editor...

It's frustrating when I read pages describing how others change their website through code, yet I can't find the files described anywhere...

The blog I need help with is my-right2write.com.

  2. Hi. First and foremost, you need to familiarize yourself with the difference between WordPress.com (which is already installed and hosted) and WordPress.org (which you download and install on your own server):

  3. thanks for the quick reply :)

  4. You're welcome :-)
