    hi

    can anyone suggest a good and working (most important) widget for people to enter their BMI (Body Mass Index) on to my blog (academybootcamp.wordpress.com). I've tried a few but they don't seem to work.

    I have copied the code and entered it on the HTML part of the blog, but when i save it in draft it doesnt work. i've also published it and still no joy. not sure what I am doing wrong!

    any suggestions - please not to technical, but if they are, make each step easy!!

    thanks in advance

    cath

    The blog I need help with is academybootcamp.wordpress.com.

  2. You would have to post the code here between code tags for us to take a look at, but I would imagine it is javascript, which is not allowed for security reasons.

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/#javascript

    <code>all the code here</code>

    Here is the code i would like to insert. Thanks for your help.

    <div id="bmiCalculator">
    <form><table border="0" width="200" align="center" style="border:1px solid #000"><thead><tr><th colspan="2">Body Mass Index</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td colspan="2" align="center"><label for="d1"><input type="radio" id="d1" name="d" value="1,1">cm/kg</label><label for="d2"><input type="radio" id="d2" name="d" value="2.54,2.2">in/lb</label></td></tr><tr><td align="right"><label for="h">Height:</label></td><td align="left"><input type="text" id="h" name="h" size="6"></td></tr><tr><td align="right"><label for="w">Weight:</label></td><td align="left"><input type="text" id="w" name="w" size="6"></td></tr><tr><td colspan="2" align="center"><input type="button" value="Calculate" onclick="calc(this.form);return false;"></td></tr><tr><td align="right"><label for="f">BMI:</label></td><td align="left"><input type="text" id="f" name="f" size="6" readonly="readonly"></td></tr></tbody></table></form>

  4. That is form code and form code cannot be directly embedded. You will probably have to link to an online form somewhere else on the net or you might be able to put the form on a Google doc and then insert that doc into a page or post here.
