Body Font Change and Picture Captioning.

  1. Hey everyone,

I've recently moved to self-hosting, and am tweaking the theme a little to suit my taste, but seeing as I have virtually no coding experience (I've just been googling problems and using common sense to figure things out).

    I have two problems:

    1. I've been trying to get bold and italics to show up in my posts and on the main page, but it's not registering. My first thought was that the font that was being used in the main body was not supporting bold/italics, or it was somehow turned off. I'm not sure how to fix this. I'm currently playing around with @font-face, but have been unsuccessful.

    2. The captions on my images are left-aligned, rather than center-aligned. Is this a coding option?

    Thanks all!

The blog I need help with is www.thecornerstonecaveman.com.

  2. The blog you specified at http://www.thecornerstonecaveman.com does not appear to be hosted at WordPress.com.

This support forum is for blogs hosted at WordPress.com. If your question is about a self-hosted WordPress blog then you'll find help at the WordPress.org forums.

If you don't understand the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, you may find this information helpful.

If you forgot to include a link to your blog, you can reply and include it below. It'll help people to answer your question.

    This is an automated message.

  3. That's not a free hosted WordPress.com blog and we do not provide support for it. You need support for WordPress.org software and you are posting to the wrong support forum. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and have separate logins. If you don't have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

  4. Yes, I just realized. Apologies. Will repost in the correct forum.

  5. You're welcome and best wishes with your site.
