   Those are appalling examples but nothing new.

   It's a hell of a site better than other health services. But it's so British to moan about our awful health service isn't it?

   Commented. Hey, by the way, I worked for a couple of weeks (until they fired me) in a nursing home in Vermont, USA, where patients were taken out of bed, sat on the commode, and bathed in the nude in the cold air. Mind you, it was the end of December 1983. But this was the classiest nursing home in town. Our nursing homes are horrible places. Noisy, loudspeaker blaring all the time, uncaring staff, cold showers, and of course, your stuff is going to get stolen by the staff. Guaranteed. Also, most folks I know who have been to these places see mysterious charges on their bill for medication (morphine, huh?) that they never took. I wonder who used the stuff?
