Bueno - featured posts & images

    I finally managed to get images to show up in the featured posts column on the right of my blog (just like in the themes example). I still can't get all my posts to show an image (only four when I think I should be able to show five?)

    Also, the normal sized post on the left shows the same photo but cropped oddly.

    1. I want to show featured posts with images but I would like the images to be larger than a postage stamp. Is this possible?

    2. I would like the same photo, or even a different photo if I should decide that, to be in the actual post itself (on the left, not the featured column) but not be cropped oddly.

    I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong or if the Bueno theme is buggy. I don't understand how I was able to show the photos in the featured column today, when I did the same process yesterday and couldn't get them to show.

    Thumbnail: 70 x 70 in Bueno Featured Posts widget
    setting featured images > http://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/
    Featured Posts Widget will show your five most recent posts—with a small thumbnail of your Featured Image.

    Have you prchased a csutom design upgrade? It may be possiblt to chnage the size with it but it si not possible without it.

    We cannot edit templates or themes so unless the theme is deigned to allow you to do that you won't be able to do it.

    Ok, I see one problem. I have to do a widget for each different category. The only category I have is "exercise" which is probably why the others haven't shown up. So that's one problem that is probably solved.

    I didn't even notice them. I'm too focused and intent on solving my problems! Typos are the least of my worries! lol.

    I'm sorry to hear that you are visually challenged. I hope your day gets better. You do very good work - tell your boss I said you should take a 15-minute (or however long you want) break!

    I didn't realize you were a volunteer here. Is all the help here volunteer? what is your home business? What is your illness?

    Your latest post here with the link is helpful; I do like it but I haven't finished reading it yet. I have to start making dinner. I will make this Bueno work and it will be Buenissimo!!

    I am so happy! I finally figured out how to do the featured posts and images. It was trial and error.

    You can have a different image in your post than you have in your featured post with image. I've got an example on my blog, the post about drinking water. I may change the others to have two separate photos because I like a multitude of photos.

    It helped that I changed the widget tag and used excerpts. That made all the difference. Thank you so much! You are a peach!
