Bueno Theme: Customizing font color and size for page titles, links, sidebar

  1. Hello!

I was just wondering if there's a way to change the font color/size for page titles and items in the sidebar in the Bueno theme?

I know I can purchase the Custom Design upgrade for $30. My theme does not currently support Custom Colors, so I can't use the preview to see what it does and it won't work with my blog theme, anyways.

Is there any way to change colors/fonts in my sidebar/page titles without purchasing the upgrade? OR, if I bought the update, how would I change the colors with CSS? For example, a page title from black to white?

Also, if I purchase the Custom Design package, what happens if I forget to renew it after a year? Will it mess up my blog?

I just really want my blog to have a specific look. :-)

    Thanks for the help!

The blog I need help with is bunnysunday.wordpress.com.

  2. These are 3 ways to change fonts on wordpress.com blogs.

    (1) Changing font families, colors and size in text in posts or pages either post by post or page by page by coding into the HTML editor. http://en.support.wordpress.com/editors/font-size-color/

    (2) Changing font colors in text in posts or pages either post by post or page by page using the #4 icon (Select text color – change the text color) in Row 2 the Visual editor. http://en.support.wordpress.com/visual-editor/#row-2

    (3) Changing all font families, colors and sizes throughout the whole blog by purchasing an annually renewable Custom Design upgrade and using Typekit Fonts with Staff support. http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/

Note: A few themes do provide for changing font color in the Blog Title and/or optional Tagline and/or links. http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/03/24/color-customisable-themes/ In the majority of themes font changes to font families, colors and size in the blog title, tagline, menu, post titles, page titles, categories and tags, widget headings, comments, and links cannot be done without CSS editing.

What happens if I unsubscribe from my Custom Design upgrade?
All upgrades on WordPress.com are renewed yearly. Should you choose to cancel your subscription, your custom fonts and CSS will no longer be applied to your blog. We’ll keep your last saved changes around, but if you would like them applied to your blog you will need to resubscribe.

  3. I have the bueno theme.

I was able to change some of the text from grey to black but the titles of "Featured Posts" and the titles to "Recent Posts" and so forth are still grey.

    I have the upgrade.

    Blog is http://idealbild.wordpress.com/

  4. I want to change the color from grey to black. Sorry, I didn't put that in my original post. Yes, I have the upgrade to make changes.
