   I tried to apply the following css code to add bullets to the items of Archive Widget:

   .widget_archives li {
   margin-left: 14px;
   list-style-type: disc;
   }

   However it does not work. Something wrong with it?

   you had archives and it is archive....

   .widget_archive li {

   list-style-type: disc;
   }
