How can I use the calendar? Can I add events so when someone clicks on a date that has an event and therefor is linkable will get to the page about the event?
If not, what good is that calendar for?

Unfortunately the calendar is just a graphical representation of when you've made a post.
It can be used as well as or in place of the monthly archive listing.There's no way to add future events. I agree, what good is the calendar...

ah shucks i was hoping it could be used as an events calendar :( we need a new calendar widget!
