Can I add a forum to my blog?

    Hi, I'd like to know if it's possible to add a forum to my blog.

    I use my blog to write stories based on my Sims games and lately, my blog has started to become more popular to the point where people are having in-depth discussions about the characters and plots in the comments section.

    While I love that people are discussing my stories in that much detail and with that much enthusiasm, it's making my blog look messy with 15 comments per post, each one containing a wall of text.

    I wanted to make a forum accessible from my blog where people could discuss the stories freely and in as much depth as they want without clogging up my actual blog with lengthy comments. I don't want to create a forum on a separate site and link to it from my blog. I'd much rather have a forum act kind of like another page on my blog, where people click the Forum page link at the top and it takes them right to the forum.

    I'd like to know if it's possible to do this.

    WordPress.com is a blogging platform. You can go somewhere else and get a forum and then link to it from your WordPress blog, but you can't host it here.

    You're welcome. There IS a workaround on certain themes that lets you attach a tab on your header to an external page:

    You could set up a FREE forum accout at freeforums.org then link to the forum from your blog

    im not familiar with web sites. im trying to create a my own blog. I have created it. Plase help me, how i add required details to it?
