I have given away my link to someone and then regretted. Now I want to protect med file from viewing.
One way would be to change the link. Can it be done ?

This might be a question to ask at the scribd forum if they have one. My guess is that there are privacy settings you can impose on that article so no one can see it. Or my other guess is to remove that article and resubmit it and I'm assuming you'd get a new link to that document.
