can I change the name of my blog?

    Can I alter the name of my blog? I've just started today and only done 1 post but want to change the name... help!

    Blog Names also known as Site Titles and/or optional Taglines can be changed at any time here > General Settings

    Sorry to be thick here..!! I changed the name (just a small change) in General Settings, and it has the new name on top of my PAGE, but it doesn't recognize it as the web address - is it still recognizes only the original name. Is it possible for the wordpress.com to recognise the new name or do I need to start again?

    Hello there,

    Blog Names also known as Site Titles and/or optional Taglines can be changed at any time here > General Settings

    However, if you want to change a Blog Address ie. the URL starting with http:// that's different. Assuming the .WordPress.com blog address you want is available, you can change it by using these instructions, > changing a blog address > http://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/

    Or if what you want to do is purchase your own domain and then it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com blg URL is > http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/register-domain/
