Can I change the width of the "Connections" theme?

  1. I know the "Connections" theme is listed as fixed-width, but I was wondering if it's possible to change the width using CSS, and if so, if anyone had any advice about which classes to edit. (I already have the CSS Upgrade.) Ideally, I'd like the area for the main body text to be wider, so that I've got a little more screen real estate.

    Thanks in advance for your help!

    The blog I need help with is trullinger.wordpress.com.

  2. Okay, since I haven't heard anything back, and there aren't very many people who have done significant changes with the "Connections" theme, I figured I'd post what I did here for others who might be stuck. In the example below, the content of the blog - headers, sidebars, and all - is 1000 pixels wide, while the div that includes the posts' content is 750 pixels wide.

    #header {width: 1000px;}
    #headimg {width: 1000px;}
    #main {width: 1000px;}
    #rap {width: 1000px;}
    #content {width:750px;}

    I'm not good with CSS, so I'm sure there's a more elegant solution, but it will change the width of the theme.
